One minute a manager is a hero. The next he must be sacked. It seems like only yesterday people were praising Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for managing Manchester United to win at PSG (it was October 20th). Now #OleOut is trending on Twitter because United lost their latest Champions League fixture against lesser known opposition in Istanbul.
Solskjaer did not bang on the door of Chief Executive Ed Woodward saying: "Gizza job." He didn't seek out the appointment and likely could never have expected to be appointed manager of the club he played for. A club he loves. Like David . . .
