So hands up those among us who had a bet on midweek wins for Swansea at Arsenal, West Ham against Spurs or Man City to get well and truly beaten by a Liverpool team they had beaten, albeit via penalties, at Wembley a few days earlier?
If any punter had that as a treble, well done. Swansea alone were 9/1 to win at Arsenal.
Whether or not you're a fan of the Premier League, you have to admit this has been the most refreshing season in a long time.
