As I write I am listening to a radio phone-in show awash with football supporters saying what a disgrace it is that the so called big clubs in Europe want to break away and set up their own Super League (aka Greedy League). This moment has been coming since football sold its soul to Rupert Murdoch thirty years ago.
The fans of those big clubs are, of course, hypocrites. Chelsea fans ignore the fact that their club is owned by a man with blood on his hands who has used the West London club to launder money. Manchester City . . .
