Some thrilling racing. Many of the finest thoroughbreds in training anywhere in the world. Plenty of potential value in the betting market.
The roar that greets the first race on day 1 never fails to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention.
And what can be finer than cheering on 40/1 or 12/1 winners like members of VG Tips have done in recent years?
