Every year British and Irish trainers send their best horses to America to compete in the Breeders’ Cup races at Santa Anita.
Every year they race against some of the best horses from around the world. I love it when a home grown horse blows away the American opposition.
But it doesn’t happen too often. What happened in the big race when many of us were tucked up in bed? Would the Irish trained Excelebration, a horse that has so often had to play second fiddle to the great Frankel, come out on top in the USA?
Well watch the Breeders’ Cup mile for yourself, right here.
