Reckless Abandon at Newmarket

It was a tough day of racing up and down the country. We had some sodden turf courses and many trainers withdrew horses from several races. Indeed 4 of my selections were non runners.

But members of my selections service still received 7 winners at the races today. I shall hold back from calling them a magnificent 7 as the odds were chiefly short but, as all serious punters know, profit is profit no matter how it comes your way.

I thought today was a very good day at the races for us. There were winners at each of the four race meetings I analysed. At Newmarket, York, Chepstow and Hexham.

It can be difficult at this time when the flat season is coming to an end and the jumps season is just beginning. Some flat trained horses have performed as well as they are going to until next spring, while the best horses trained for National Hunt racing are only just blowing away the cobwebs.

So I consider today to be a very good day of profitable punting.

The 7 winners were:- Mystery Bet 5-2 Reckless Abandon 9-4 (pictured above) Hinterland 6-4 Regal Encore 11-8 Green Flag 11-10 Fingal Bay 4-6 and Dawn Approach 2-5
