For more years than I care to remember, the 2000 and 1000 Guineas have long been favourite flat races of mine. While the Oaks the day before the Derby is the favourite flat race of mine (I love a nice filly!); the two races that grace Newmarket this coming weekend are must watch races for me.
This is when the flat racing proper truly begins. When young, promising colts and fillies race on genuinely Good or Good to Firm ground at wonderful Newmarket.
Remember, you don't have to bet in such races. I do, because . . .
