14/1 winning football accumulator on day when rain stopped play
Roberto Solado scores the goal for Spurs that sees VG Tips members win a 14/1 bet

Roberto Solado goal for Spurs makes VG Tips members smile

Members of VG TIPS enjoyed another winning football accumulator last weekend when Peterborough, Fleetwood, Leyton Orient and Tottenham all won so ensuring my suggested 14/1 accumulator paid off.

That’s the fourth acca to pay off already this football season.

It was welcome on a day when heavy rain fell in the south and the best single bet of the day was ruined by rain. Yes, rain. In August!

I tipped Doncaster Rovers to win at Charlton. The best price was 3/1 and I was on at that price. After 23 minutes all looked well. Doncaster Rovers led 3-0 and we had only an hour to wait until we were paid out.

Then the referee suspended play and handed gardening forks to the players. The rain had been so heavy the pitch at Charlton was fast becoming unplayable. They dug. They swept. They resumed play.

But, soon after, the referee abandoned the match and it will now be replayed at a later date. You can be sure the bookies will not be foolish again. They will not offer 3/1 against Doncaster Rovers next time around.

Losing out on profit due to a football match being abandoned in August is a first.

Thankfully, that 14/1 acca made up for it and members could go bank their winnings.

I have now offered them a couple of midweek accas to consider comprising of games in the Champions League and the hard to predict Capital One Cup.

If you want to be part of the action throughout this football season, come join the home of profitable punting.
