Each and every week throughout the football season, I offer analysis and betting tips for matches played in the English leagues and, from time to time, elsewhere in Europe. In Scotland, meanwhile, my talented tipster Robert Ryan offers to subscribers his own unique take on the game north of the border. Since he joined VG Tips his record of success has been nothing short of superb. And members of VG Tips are grateful.
Last weekend saw him tip Hearts to score first when winning their Cup tie against local rivals Hibs. Also known as the Jam Tarts, Hearts found the net first at odds of 21/20. They scored on the hour and ended up winning the Scottish Cup tie 2-1.
Robert also called right the both teams to score bet at odds of 5/6 for the game between Dundee and Raith Rovers. The game ended 1-1. He told subscribers Motherwell would score two or more goals at odds of 7/4. Dunfermline won, as Robert predicted, at odds of 4/7. And Falkirk to win at odds of 8/13.
In summary, Robert offered members 6 selections and called 5 of them precisely right. Well done that man!
As for my football tips for games played down south, Chelsea won at odds of 1/2 and their Timo Verner scored anytime for myself and subscribers at odds of 21/20.
Both teams to score for the fixture between Liverpool and West Ham paid out at odds of 4/6. Elsewhere in the Premier League, Harry Kane scored anytime for Spurs at odds of 4/5.
In League 1 Peterborough won comfortably for us at odds of 3/4. While, in League 2, my NAP for Port Vale to win at odds of 4/5 also delivered profit.
So for games being played in England and Scotland, the result was 11 winning football tips from 15 selections.
It could have been one better had Manchester United’s Paul Pogba not got the wrong side of an opponent, stuck a foot in when he shouldn’t and, in so doing, deliver Arsenal a penalty that saw the Gunners go home with three points when a 0-0 draw looked to be the most likely outcome.
But you can’t win them all and it was a winning weekend that ensured my loyal subscribers who like to bet on football, well and truly beat the bookies.
My midweek football tips are available now, including for the Champions League ties played this first week of November.
