10 winning racing tips at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival

History repeated itself when, for the second year running, I was able to offer members of VG Tips ten winners at the Cheltenham Festival.

CORACH RAMBLER (pictured above) at odds of 11/1 was the biggest priced winner of the week and got us off to a nice start on the day thanks to a superb last to first ride by jockey Derek Fox.

CONSTITUTION HILL also won for us on day one and was available at odds of 11/4 when selected for subscribers the day before he so impressed when winning the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, and the wonderful HONEYSUCKLE won her second Champion Hurdle at odds of 8/11. That pair may yet take each other on this season or next.

The Wednesday gave us winners L’HOMME PRESSE, SIR GERHARD and, in the ‘Without the Favourite’ betting market for the Bumper, AMERICAN MIKE duly delivered at odds of 11/8.

ALLAHO was the obvious NAP to win the Ryanair Chase on day three which also saw one of the hard luck stories of all time as Galopin Des Champs fell at the final fence when in the lead and well clear of the opposition. It wouldn’t be Cheltenham without a hard luck story or two.

On the final day of the four day festival, the VG Tips winners were STATE MAN at 4/1, VAUBAN at 2/1, and the winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup, A PLUS TARD, also offered to members the day before when odds of 4/1 were readily available. Even the SP of 3/1 represented value for the very comfortable winner of the big race.

I missed watching the action that last day as I spent the entirety of it in hospital. It was a tough week for me on the health front, the first of more to come. But I was pleased to have carried on working, studying form and serving my lovely, loyal followers with ten winners across four days.

And they responded accordingly. Paul wrote to say: “Great selections again and now time to look after yourself.”

Toni was happy, saying: “Your tipping has been excellent as always.”

David e-mailed: “All the very best for your medical procedures.  Thank you for your recent dedication.”

While Jim may have gone a little over the top in writing: “You’re a legend!”

I shall return to the jumps action with the Punchestown Festival at the end of April. Join VG Tips via this link.
