The weather has played havoc with racing this past week. Numerous meetings have been called off over the New Year period. The meeting at Wetherby on Friday was called off and there are even course inspections planned for next week.
One race that was lost to us late last year was the ultra competitive Welsh Grand National. I spent hours studying the form and writing up my appraisal of the race. The next day, the meeting at Chepstow was called off. There are not as many runners now that it is being staged tomorrow, but it is still a competitive . . .
