International friendlies. Two words to send a shiver through any punter. Why bother with these matches? The most likely winners are priced ludicrously short in the betting market. And then there are the countries who use these pointless matches to road test players. Gareth Southgate will likely do that for England. I don't envy him his task of finding a squad that can impress in Russia this summer.
Wales are on a tour of China under the new management of Ryan Giggs. Of course Wales should win these games, especially if Gareth Bale is in the starting line up . . .
